Wu Zhiwei was recognized for his role in strengthening the relations between Portugal, Portuguese-speaking countries, Macau, and China. He supported various cultural and educational initiatives and donated protective equipment to Portuguese diplomatic missions during the pandemic. The event was attended by several political and business figures, highlighting the lasting impact of his contributions. The award was presented to his widow, who was accompanied by family members.
